Gray's 2nd Birthday!

Let me begin by saying I can't believe Gray is already 2 years old. 

On the morning of March 19, 2009, I 'woke up' (using that term loosely) in the hospital after over 16 hours of labor with no baby. Several hours later the decision was made to take Gray. Josh and I were finally parents! 

Monkey @ 2 weeks. 

Backing up a little, in March '09 we were living in Pensacola, FL. I had just quit my job (which I loved) at a private practice and Josh was getting closer to finishing flight school. Josh completed flight school and got his wings in July '09, and we moved to North Carolina. We stayed in Jacksonville, NC for roughly 8 months then we moved again to San Diego in February '10. In the middle of all of that training and moving, Gray celebrated his first birthday. I wonder how many non-military kids live in 3 states before their 1st birthday...

At two, he is:
-wearing 24 month/2T clothes.
-wearing a size 4 diaper.
-talking A LOT more.
-napping once a day for 1.5 to 3 hours.
-about 27 pounds.
-about 34 inches tall.

He loves:
-hunger strikes.
-sharing his meals with Fletch (This is not Mommy approved.)
-doing flips off the couch.
-pushing his rocket around with Fletch chasing him and barking.
-running around like a wild man.
-trains, books, puzzles, and Toy Story.
-fruit, ice cream, rice, pasta, and juice. He isn't a fan of meat generally.
-when Dada come home.
-when Fletch chases him.
-to be tickled.
-to dance.
-mirrors.
-to brush his teeth. Clipping fingernails? Not so much
-to give hugs, but he is pretty stingy with kisses.

Gray is such a playful, funny, perfect, silly, adorable, healthy, and fun-loving little guy. He has changed our lives in so many ways, for the better. We are blessed that he is in our lives and I can't imagine the day-to-day without him. Have I mentioned that I can't believe Gray is already 2 years old!?!
